    Helen Marie Deitz, 84, died Nov. 5, 2002 at Traditions on Bath Road,
  Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.  Born Jan. 8, 1918, in Berlin, daughter of the late
  Albert and Vilda (Vought) Hoffman.  She had lived in Mogadore, Brimfield,
  and more recently in Kent, Ohio.  Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph,
  in October 1968, grandson John Kramer in 1997, and a sister, Edna Ickes.
  Survived by a son, Karl Deitz of Germantown, Md., daughters, Janice (Tony)
  Zakelj of Cleveland, Ohio, Eileen (Andy) Kramer of Kemt, Ohio, and Lorna
  Deitz of Santa Rosa, Calif.; five grandchildren and two
  great-grandchildren.  An active member of the Faith United Methodist Church
  in Brimfield.   Member of the Brimfield Senior Citizens and had been a
  member of the Green Branch Garden Club of Brimfield.  Friends received from
  3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Kent
  Chapel.  Funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at the Faith United Methodist
  Church, Brimfield, Ohio.  Interment at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Berlin IOOF
  Cememtery.
