  CHARLES V. DELANCY
  
    Charles V. Delancy, 69, of Somerset RD 5, died Jan. 3, 1979, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  He was born Feb. 25, 1909, in Bedford County, son of
  John and Maggie (Middleton) Delancy.   He was preceded in death by parents
  and one sister.
    He is survived by wife, the former Marie Fochtman; and three children:
  Joseph E., Meyersdale RD; Mrs. Gary (Betty) Landis, Berlin RD 3; and David,
  at home.  He is also survived by six grandchildren.  He was a brother of Mrs.
  Lillian Speicher of Tire Hill; Mrs. Ruth Hann of Bedford RD 2; Mrs. Hattie
  Ohler of New Paris; Mrs. Erma Hillegas of Schellsburg RD 1; Mrs. Mary
  Habinyak and Dorothy Delancy, both of Schellsburg.
    He was a member of Berlin Brethren Church.
    Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where
  services were held with the Rev. Charles W. Sigler officiating.  Interment,
  Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
