DeLozier, 68, of 1037 Myrtle Street, Cumberland, Md., died March 21, 1983 at the Veterans Administration Center in Martinsburg, W.Va. He was born Sept 19, 1914 in Glencoe, and was the son of the late George DeLozier and Emma (Petry) DeLozier. He was a retired foreman for the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company and was a veteran of Navy service in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church; a member and past member of Fort Cumberland Lodge 211, AF&AM; a member of the Scottish Rite, Ali Ghan Shrine, Ali Ghan Shrine Band, The Past Masters Unit, the Tall Cedars of Lebanon and a past patron of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a former manager of the Ali Ghan Hot Stove baseball team and was a former vice president and member of the board of directors of the Hot Stove League. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eva W. (Pownall) DeLozier; two sons, Roger A. DeLozier, Cresaptown, Maryland; Barry A. DeLozier, Richmond, Virginia; three daughters, Mrs. Audrey Martz, Hyndman; Mrs. Connie Winebrenner, Hancock, Maryland; Mrs. Sheila R. Densock, Cumberland; two brothers, Albert DeLozier, Connellsville; Walter G. DeLozier, Cumberland; one sister, Mrs. Mary Hartman, Glencoe; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home. Fort Cumberland Lodge will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The Republic, March 24, 1983 [D0420]
