DeLozier, 73, of 625 Elm Street, died December 24, 1983, at Memorial Hospital. Born April 22, 1910 in Somerset County, he was a son of the late George G. and DeLozier and Emma (Petry) Delozier. He was a retired B. and O. Railroad carman helper. He was a member of Kingsley United Methodist Church; the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen of America, and Fort Cumberland Lodge 211, AF&AM. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth J. (Ludy) DeLozier; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Benson, Mrs. Freda Benson and Mrs. Jane Lafferty, all of Cumberland, Maryland; Mrs. Maxine Furedy, Pittsburgh; one brother, George A. DeLozier, Connellsville; one sister, Mrs. Mary Hartman, Glencoe; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home. A Masonic memorial service was held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Services were conducted at the funeral home Wednesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Earl E. Mason. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Michael Benson, Terry G. Benson, George S. Benson, William Benson, Joseph Benson and Albert Furedy.
