DeLuca, 66, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Boswell, died Sept. 23, 1988, at Resurrection Hospital, Chicago. Born Oct 22, 1921, in Boswell, son of Bruno and Rose (Pulicicchio) DeLuca. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Mario. Survived by wife, the former Olga Levandnuk; children: Alicia, married to Roger Jones, Houston, Texas; Bruno, Reston, Va.; Mario, married to the former Dorothy (Caput), Chicago; and Victoria, at home; grandchildren, Nicole and Mario DeLuca; brother of: Dominic, married to the former Theresa Leshok; and Leo, married to the former May Ann Kaniak, both of Boswell; Lena, widow of William Jaber, Westmont; Josephine, widow of Michael Kowalczyk, and Carmella, wife of Fosten Truscott, both of Boswell; and Virginia, wife of Fred Cicala, Vera Beach, Fla.; also sister-in-law, Ann (Sergi) DeLuca, Evans City, Pa.; and mother-in-law, Alice Levandnuk, Chicago, Ill. Member of Boswell Post 461 American Legion and Boswell Lodge 1780, Sons of Italy. Retired supervisor of Country Delight Dairy, Chicago; and Army veteran of World War II. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Monday, followed by S.O.I. Memorial Service. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Boswell, with Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating. Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
