    Ivan "Buck" Deneen, 82, Hooversville RD, died Feb. 27, 1999, at Windber
  Hospital.  Born April 23, 1916 in Hyndman.  Preceded in death by first
  wife, Illa (Carver) in 1939; second wife, Viola (Wahl) in 1998; mother, Ada
  (Deneen) Emerick; grandparents, Johnson and Ellen Deneen, who raised Ivan;
  and brothers, Tom and Earl Emerick.  Survived by sons, Donald and wife
  Gloria, Central City; Larry and wife, Bonnie, and Wayne and wife, Joanne,
  all of Cairnbrook; also 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 2
  step-grandchildren.  Brother of Irene Bunner, Hyndman.  Retired from J.T.
  Coal Co.  Member of U.M.W.A. Local 6410.  Friends received from 2-4 and 6-9
  p.m. Monday at Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, where service will be
  held at 11 a.m., Tuesday.  Pastor Peter Wilkins.  Interment, McGregor
  Cemetery.
