    Robert A. Denk Sr., 80, of Johnstown RD 5, died Oct. 3, 1985, at Lee
  Hospital.  He was born April 10, 1905, in Johnstown, son of the late Adolph
  and Margaret (Campbell) Denk.  Also preceded in death by a brother, Jim;
  sisters: Marie, Ann and Geraldine.  Survived by his wife, the former Beulah
  Moore; these children: Harriet, wife of Owen Hofecker and Margaret, wife of
  Anthony Trio, both of Johnstown; Dorothy, wife of Fred Manges,
  Hooversville; Robert A. Jr., married to Kathryn Noon, Johnstown;
  Georgianna, wife of David Alwine, Friedens; 23 grandchildren; 15
  great-grandchildren.  Brother of : Francis, John R., Charles, all of
  Johnstown; Agnes Moran, California; Rosella Denk, Johnstown; and Rita
  Rolling, Seward.  Was a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. 
  Retired from William Chapple Inc.  Death ends a marriage union of 51
  years.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at
  John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Johnstown.  Mass of
  Christian Burial noon Saturday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, Monsignor
  Linford Greinader.  Interment, Benshopp Hill Cemetery.  Rosary will be
  recited Friday evening.
