  Eddie C. Denner, 76, Old State Bridge Road, Friedens, (Stonycreek
  Township), died Jan. 1, 2005, in Stonycreek Township.  Born Oct. 23, 1928,
  in Stonycreek Township, son of Russell and Stella (Watkins) Denner.  
  Preceded in death by parents and brother, Ray.  Survived by his wife of 54
  years, the former Sarah Stahl; children, Suzan, married to Timothy Brant,
  Friedens and Eddie L., married to the former Paulette Hoover, Berlin;
  grandchildren, Eric and Johnathan Brant, Carley and Marissa Denner.  A 1946
  graduate of Shanksville Stonycreek High School.  Lifelong Stonycreek
  Township dairy farmer, and recipient of the Century Farm designation in
  2000.  Former longtime member of Shanksville United Methodist Church; member
  of Valley Brethren Church, Jones Mills, and attended Main Street Brethren
  Church, Meyersdale.  Former member of Stoystown Lions Club.  Family will
  receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday
  at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 2 p.m. 
  Wednesday.  The Rev. Marlin Miller and Rev. Robert Stahl officiating.  
  Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.  In lieu of flowers, contributions
  may be given to Zerfoss Cemetery Assoc., c/o First Commonwealth Bank, 2040
  N. Center Ave., Somerset, PA 15501
