    Floyd J. DePhillips, 85, of Somerset Twp., went to be with his Lord,
  parents, brother and three sisters on Oct. 20, 2001 at Somerset Hospital. 
  Born Oct. 31, 1915 in Detroit, Mich., son of the late Joseph and Tonina
  (Siviea) DePhillips.  Also preceded in death by brother John and sisters
  Lucy Foust, Mary Heist and Mary DePhillips.  Survived by his wife of 62
  years, Romayne (Beggs) DePhillips; children, Floyd M. DePhillips, married
  to former Jeanne Boland of West Lake, Ohio, Ernest DePhillips of Somerset,
  Mrs. Vearl (Donna M.) Pyle of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and James C. DePhillips
  of Somerset; seven grandchildren: Denise, James, Christine, Deanna,
  Daniella, Jeanne and Mark; five great-grandchildren: Greg, Cory, Joey,
  Casie and Tommy; and two step great-grandchildren Cody and Jared.  Brother
  of Joseph Phillips and Emma Gasperine, both of Friedens, and Alice Shaffer
  of Somerset.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Member of
  Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church and 55 and Over Speeders.  Retired
  repairman for Westinghouse Electric with 37 1/2 years of service.  A 1934
  graduate of Somerset Twp. High School.  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Monday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where private services
  will be held on Tuesday.  Pastor Dennis Doobler officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to Christ
  Casebeer Lutheran Church, 10377 Somerset Pike, Somerset, Pa 15501.
