    Elvera S. Dequenne, 81, of Clairton, died Jan. 11, 1993, in the
  McKeesport Hospital.  Born June 4, 1911, in McKeesport.  Daughter of the
  late Edward and Alma (Westerberg) Shupe.  Preceded in death by her husband,
  Ernest H. Dequenne Jr., and a son, Ernest H. Dequenne II.  Survived by a
  son, Ray E. Dequenne of Garrett; a daughter, Fay LaFrankie of Forward
  Township; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and a brother, Robert
  Shupe of McKeesport.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church
  of Clairton.  Retired clerk at the Clairton Works Federal Credit Union. 
  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Wednesday at the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 Fifth Street,
  Clairton, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Don
  R. Smith officiating.  Interment, Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
