  RALPH B. DERRY
  
    Ralph B. Derry, 61, Schellsburg, died April 7, 1980, at Lake Seminole
  Hospital, Seminole, Fla., where he made his winter residence.
    He was born June 4, 1918, in Meyersdale, son of late Leo and Mary
  (Huffman) Derry.  He is survived by widow, former Pauline Kimmel, and these
  children: Mary Beth, wife of Brian Swegal, Los Angeles, Calif., and Woody
  Acker, married to former Susan Hobson, Ebensburg; also two grandchildren,
  Kelli and George Acker.  He was a brother of Mrs. Dorothy Neumar,
  Pittsburgh, and Charles, Morgantown, W.Va.  He was a retired Schellsburg
  postmaster.  He was the owner of Ralph B. Derry Insurance Agency, Bedford
  and a Purple Heart veteran, U.S. Army.  He was a charter member of Shawnee
  Valley Volunteer Fire Company and a member of Raystown Investors Club;
  Schellsburg Post 4440, VFW; Bedford, Blair, Huntingdon Postmaster's
  Association; Coffeehouse Insurance Group of Erie Insurance Co.; and a
  member of the United Church of Schellsburg, where memorial services were
  held with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating.  Interment, Schellsburg
  Cemetery.
    Friends were received at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
