  DESMOND
  
    M. Katheryn Desmond, 73, of West Race Street, Somerset, died Oct. 25, 
  1980, at her residence.  Born July 9, 1907, in Connellsville, daughter of 
  the late Wallace and Mary Katherine (Gretz-Bishop). [sic]  Also preceded in death 
  by brother, Wallace, who died in World War II.  Survived by husband, Carl S. 
  Sister of Helen, wife of Harold W. Brumberg, and Jean Bishop, both of 
  Washington D.C. Member of St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, Somerset. 
  Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 
  Tuesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Mass of the Christian 
  Burial, Wednesday 10 a.m. at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, the Rev. 
  Father Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial 
  Park.  Rosary Services will be held Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. in the funeral
