  MRS. SAMUEL D'ESTE
  
    Mrs. Gemma D'Este, 87, Meyersdale, died Nov. 11, 1972, in Meyersdale 
  Community Hospital.
    Born in Genoa, Italy, Jan. 15, 1885, she was a daughter of the late Doria 
  and Adunia Pinelli.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel 
  D'Este.
    Surviving are four sons, Charles D'Este, Miami, Fla.; Ronaldo D'Este, 
  Meyersdale; Adolph D'Este, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Perry D'Este, Allentown; 
  also a daughter, Mrs. J. A. Wortman, Allentown; nine grandchildren, seven 
  great-grandchildren; a brother, Doria Pinelli; and a sister, Miss Ricca 
  Pinelli, both of Johnstown.
    A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated Monday morning in Sts. Philip 
  and James Catholic Church, with Rev. Clark George officiating.  Interment in 
  the parish cemetery under the direction of Price Funeral Home.
