DETRICK Evelyn Frances Detrick, 60, of Oldtown Road, died December 8, 1984, in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Maryland. Born June 17, 1924 in Corriganville, Maryland, she was the daughter of Anna Mae (Leddy) Starkey, Cumberland, Maryland, and the late Charles Starkey. Her husband, Harry L. Detrick, also preceded her in death. She was a member of the American Legion Post 136 Auxiliary Ridgeley, and Central Assembly of God Church. Surviving besides her mother are a son, Harry A. Detrick, Orlando, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Paulette Wilson and Mrs. Linda Lewis, both of Cumberland, Maryland; and Mrs. Robin Stonebreaker and Mrs. Dora Jolley, both of Hagerstown, Maryland; two brothers, Herman Starkey, Wellersburg; and William Starkey, Hyndman; four sisters, Mrs. Dolly Linton, Baltimore, Maryland; Mrs. Hilda Mellott, Cumberland; Mrs. Geraldine Goss, Cresaptown, and Mrs. Lillian Logsdon, Pinto, Maryland; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where services were conducted by the Rev. Gary J. Butler officiating. Interment, Sunset Memorial Park.
