Detwiler, 69, of RD 1 Centre Hall, Pa., died April 21, 1980, at the Mountain View Hospital, State College, Pa. Daughter of the late Oscar and Anna Hunter Scurfield Carlson. Born Jan. 23, 1911, in Wells Creek, Pa. Preceded in death by her first husband, John A. Wilson in 1969, second husband, Homer W. Detwiler, April 18, 1980; three brothers; four sisters and one great-granddaughter. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. William J. (Etta) Lehman, Roseville, Calif.; Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Litterine, of Johnstown; five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter. Sister of Gibson Carlson of Boswell; Mrs. Bernice Fall, of Ebensburg; and Bernard of Gray. Memeber of Somerset Co. Firemen's Auxiliary and Licensed Vocational Nurses Assn. of Pa. Memeber of United Methodist Church, Spring Mills, Pa.; Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Somerset; Laurel Falls Assn.; and a retired Somerset State Hospital employee. Friends will be received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home Thursday 7-9 p.m., Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where service will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m., the Rev. Jon Gulnac officiating.
