ROBERT DEVAULT

Youth Drowned In Yough River At Somerfield

  CONFLUENCE, Aug. 16 - Robert Devault was drowned last Sunday when he stepped 
off a ledge while wading in the Youghiogheny River at Somerfield.  He was 16 
years old and lived near Markleysburg.  He was born on July 13, 1928, and died 
on August 13, 1944, at 4 p.m.  He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar 
Devault, two sisters and two brothers.
  Funeral services were held at the Sampson Chapel.  Charles B. Humbert of 
Confluence was the mortician in charge.
