DeVine, 70, Somerset, passed on Feb. 15, 2004, at home after losing a battle with cancer. She was born March 24, 1933, the daughter of Elbert and Milda (Miller) Hoffman. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Donald "Toot" DeVine and grandson Scott DeVine. She is survived by her children, Fred and wife Kathy of Dearborn Heights, Mich., Bonnie and husband Ken Mosley of Rich Creek, Va., Joyce and husband Tom Hay of Friedens, Robert and wife Jayne of Somerset, Sharon and husband Steve King of Everett, Wanda and husband Ollie Shaffer of Somerset, Donald "Ernie" and wife Karen of Gray and Donna and grandson Cody, at home; grandchildren Jason and Brittney DeVine, Kenny and Brett Mosley, Krisi and Bryan Hay, Ryan and Kasey DeVine, Gretchen and Jill King, Travis and Brandon Shaffer, and Amanda and Adam DeVine; great-grandchildren Kelsey, Kenzie and Yazmeen Mosley; and brothers and sisters Betty Pacific of Dearborn Heights, Mich., Chuck Hoffman of Portland, Ore., Asenath Sipe of Somerset, Linda Coleman of Washington and Neil Hoffman of Somerset. She was a lifelong member of the Sipesville Church of the Brethren and was formerly employed by the Beacon Restaurant and K-Mart. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Sipesville Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Roger Forry officiating. There will be visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment at Sipesville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to In Touch Hospice, 1590 N.
