  HELEN B. DEVLIN
  
    Helen B. Devlin, 83, at 1049 Northfield Dr., Carlisle, died Jan. 30,
  1997, in Carlisle Hospital.  Born Sept. 26, 1913, in Pittsburgh, she was
  the daughter of the late Stewart and Laura Barrett Burke.  She was a
  graduate of St. Mary of the Mount High School, Pittsburgh, a member of St.
  Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle, and the CCW of the church; a past
  president of Shamrock club; and a member of the Civic Club, Carlisle. 
  Surviving are her husband of 55 years, James C. Devlin, and 3 sons:  J.
  Dennis of Pittsburgh, Michael B. of Carlisle and H. Barrett of Wilson,
  N.C.; 6 grandchildren.  Also preceded in death by a daughter, M. Juliette
  Milanese.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Monday in
  the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Marsh Drive, Carlisle, with the Rev.
  Joseph T. Scanlin as celebrant.  Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic
  Church Cemetery, N. Middletown Twp.  Viewing from 4-6 p.m. Sunday in the
  Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle.  Memorial
  contributions may be made to St. Patrick Church, 3rd Century Fund, Marsh
  Drive, Carlisle, Pa. 17013 or American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Rd.,
  Suite 200, Pennsboro Center, Wormleysburg, Pa. 17043.
