  ALBERT J. DEVORE
  
    Albert J. DeVore, 81, of Oldtowne Manor, Cumberland, Md., died Thursday,
  Feb. 2, 1989, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    He was born March 18, 1907 near Hyndman, son of the late William and Lena
  (Bower) DeVore.
    A former auto mechanic, he retired from the Kowell Ford Motor Company,
  Cumberland, Md.
    He is survived by his widow, Nellie (Divelbliss) DeVore; three sons: 
  William E. DeVore, Rochester, N.Y.; Robert E. DeVore, Salem, Conn.; and
  John A. DeVore, Okeechobee, Fla.; two brothers:  Carl F. DeVore, Hyndman RD
  1; and Raymond P. DeVore, Hyndman; two sisters:  Nellie Holler, Hyndman; and
  Catherine Holler, Hyndman RD 1; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman,
  where services were conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Ruth S. Kershner.
    Interment, Madley Cemetery.
