    Charles E. DeVore, 79, Patriot Manor, Somerset Hospital.  Born Dec. 29,
  1914, in Hyndman, son of William and Arminta (Hershberger) DeVore. 
  Proceded in death by parents; brothers, David and Fredrick, and sister,
  Edythe Thomas.  Survived by three nieces and two nephews.  Veteran of World
  War II.  Member of VFW Post 155.  Retired employee of American Can,
  Cleveland, Ohio.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at John
  Henderson Company Funeral Home, Johnstown, where service will be held at 11
  a.m. Friday, the Rev. Keith Lohr.  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
