  ROBERT C. DeWITT
  
    Robert C. "Bob" DeWitt, 65, of Somerset, died June 23, 2001 in Somerset
  Hospital.  Born March 19, 1936, a son of the late Clyde and Anna (Henry)
  DeWitt.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Roy
  Dale DeWitt, a sister, Carrie M. Savage and a half-brother Albert DeWitt. 
  Survived by his wife, Helen Lois (Hostetler) DeWitt; 5 sons, Jerry DeWitt
  and his wife, Arlene, Rick DeWitt and his wife Kandi, Robert DeWitt and his
  wife Margaret, Russell DeWitt and his wife Brenda and Barry DeWitt and his
  wife, Karen, all of Somerset; 2 daughters Ruth Ann Ash and her husband
  Donald of Somerset and Debra Kinneer and her husband Barton of Acme;
  grandchildren:  Jennifer, Mellissa, Preston, Dustin, Robert, Beth, Jason,
  Christa, Michael, Tyler and Amanda DeWitt, Heather and Robert Shawn Pritts
  Ash, Tiffany Ash, Brittany and Justin Kinneer, his great-grandchildren Noah
  Kennell and Hailey DeWitt; 3 brothers, Walter Lee DeWitt of Laurelville,
  James Elwood DeWitt of Mt. Pleasant and David Curtis DeWitt of Somerset. 
  Resident of the Bakersville Trent area for the last 45 years.  Owner and
  operator of Robert C. DeWitt Contracting.  Member of the Middle Creek
  Church of the Brethren and past member of the Bakersville Vol. Fire Dept. 
  Friends and family will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711,
  Melcroft, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Bob
  Robertson officiating.  A committal service and interment will follow in the
  Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Saltlick Township.
