   Lawrence R. Dexter, 74, Crawford, Neb., died April 14, 2007, in Crawford. Mr. Dexter was
  born April 1, 1933, in Pine Ridge, S.D., to Benjamin and Cora Dexter. Mr. Dexter is
  survived by wife, Linda Dexter, Crawford; son, Monte (Sharon), Alliance Neb.; brother,
  Gordon (Gloria) Dexter, Davenport Iowa; sister, Alpha (Glenn) Betts, Silvis, Ill.; five
  grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step grandchildren. A funeral service for
  Mr. Dexter will be held 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at  Chamberlain Chapel, Chadron, Neb. Dr. Russ
  Seger officiating. Burial 1 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, S.D.
  Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials
  may be made to Chadron Hospice or Chadron Community Hospital. Donations may be sent to
  Security 1st Bank, P.O. Box 506, Crawford, NE 69339.
