    Dorothy (Makay) Dicarlo, 78, Windber, died June 11, 2006 at the Regional
  Hospice of Windber. Born Feb. 2, 1928 in Baker-Whitley, a daughter of the late
  Frank and Helen Makay. Preceded in death by brother, Andrew Makay. She is
  survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph DiCarlo, whom she married in
  October 1945. Barbara Gutowski and husband, Raymond, Beaver Falls; and son,
  Harry DiCarlo and wife, Donna, Marblehead, Ohio; grandson, John DiCarlo and
  wife, Brenda, Berea, Ohio; granddaughter, Stephanie Gutowski, Pittsburgh;
  grandson, Matthew Gutowski, Beaver Falls, and granddaughter, Renee Reed and
  husband, Raymond, Dover, Del. Also survived by brother, John Makay, Tacoma,
  Wash., and a sister-in-law, Filomena Mazzoni, and husband, Aldo, Verona.
  Dorothy was a garment worker for Bali and Bestform for over 25 years. Member of
  I.L.G.W.U. and member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, where
  funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday T.O.R. Franciscans. Committal
  at St. Anthony of Padua Mausoleum, Windber. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber where vigil for
  the deceased will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial
  contributions be made to the Regional Hospice of Windber in Dorothy's memory.
