DICKEN Genevieve D. "Genny" Dicken, 45, of 228 Bond Street, died Friday, June 12, 1987, in the hospice unit at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., Jan. 30, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Vada (Wilt) Sheetz. Surviving are her husband, Garland L. Dicken Jr., at home; four daughters, Susan R. Dicken, at home; Mrs. Carol Isner, Mrs. Judy Musgrove and Mrs. Tina Wahl, all of Cumberland, Md.; five sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Parsons, Alexandria, Va.; Mrs. Irene Twigg and Mrs. Linda Meyers, both of Meyersdale; Mrs. Shirley Merrill, Forestville; Mrs. Lois Fazenbaker, Hyndman; six brothers, Donald Sheetz, Meyersdale; David Sheetz, Hyndman; John Sheetz, Buffalo Mills; Edgar Sheetz, Friedens; Arthur Sheetz and Frank Sheetz, both of Cumberland, Md.; and seven grandchildren. Friends were received at the Leasure-Stein Funeral Home where services were conducted Monday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. David Stottlemyer. Interment, Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Carl Roy, Chuck Layton, Leonard Dicken, Charles Musgrove, Jim Isner and Tommy Neff. The Republic, June 18, 1987 [D0529]
