CARL DICKEY

  Carl Dickey, 60, died Thursday, Feb. 3, at his home 116 Salisbury Street, 
Meyersdale, after a brief illness.  He was born August 17, 1888, the son of 
Edward J. and Clara (Welch) Dickey.  He was employed by the Meyersdale Laundry 
for 41 years.
  He is survived by these sisters and brothers: Grace, Mrs. Herman Worth, 
Hillsboro, Md.; Alma, Mrs. John Donahue, Philadelphia; Bessie, Mrs. Harry Evans, 
Arlington, Va.; Helen, Mrs. James Hill, Frostburg, Md.; Alice, Mrs. Gilbert 
Hyatt, Meyersdale; Mrs. Marion Nicklin, Cumberland, Md.; Joel Dickey, 
Meyersdale, and William Dickey, at home.
  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Konhaus Funeral Home, the 
Rev. H. K. Hilner officiating.  Interment in Union Cemetery.
