EARL DICKEY Mrs. Elizabeth (Tressler) Dickey, 80, of Berlin RD 3, died Oct. 14, 1972, in Butler. She was born July 2, 1892, in shaw Mines, a daughter of the late Calvin W. and Mary Ann (Miller) Tressler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, R. Earl Dickey, who died in 1961, and a brother, John Tressler. Surviving are these children: Robert E. Dickey, Butler; Mrs. Ruth Azneer, Philadelphia; Mrs. Mary Ann Hynicka, Mountville, Pa.; and Mrs. Miriam Pierce of State College; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a sister of W. Robert Tressler, Somerset; James Tressler, Bethlehem; Mrs. Edna Kretchman, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Orpha Metzler of Martinsburg. Mrs. Dickey was a member of Mt. Zion (Hay's) United Church of Christ, Hillcrest Grange, Pomona Grange, state and national grange, First Society of Farm Women, Somerset County Library Board and the Order of the Eastern Star, Somerset. Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon in Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin, with Rev. Richard H. Shellenberger officiating. Interment in Hay's church cemetery.
