Dickey, 58, 503 Main St., Berlin, died Feb. 27, 1983, at Mercy Hospital, Johnstown. Born Feb. 14, 1925, in Berlin, daughter of John S. and Hazel (Holland) Dickey. Preceded in death by her father, who died in 1971. Survived by her mother; a brother, Jack, married to the former Janice Walker, Stoystown; and nieces: Cathy Dickey, Stoystown; and Mrs. Jill Phillippi, Jennerstown; also a nephew, John Dickey, Stoystown. She retired after serving as secretary for General Telephone of Pennsylvania in Somerset for 29 years. Member of: Trinity United Church of Christ, Pius Spring Woman's Club of Berlin, Trinity Chapter No. 138, Order of the Eastern Star, Somerset. She was a 1943 graduate of Berlin-Brothersvally High School, and a graduate of Thompson Business College of York, Pa. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The Eastern Star Chapter will hold services at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
