  GEORGE A. DICKEY
  
  George A. Dickey, 80, of Somerset, died Oct. 23, 1977 at the Somerset
  Community Hospital.  He was born Dec. 18, 1896 in Friedens, a son of the
  late Frank S. and Mary (Barron) Dickey.  Survived by his widow the former
  Rachel Coleman and these children:  Mrs. David (Ruth Ann) Scheidt of
  Philadelphia and John F. of Columbus, Ohio.  12 grandchildren and five
  great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two brothers.  Was a
  member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the American Legion Post 181 of
  Somerset, and was a veteran of World War I.  Friends will be received after
  2 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard E. Hauger funeral Home.  Services will be
  conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev.
  H. James Meyers officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. 
  Body will lie in state in the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.
