DICKEY Glenn Urias Dickey, 78, of Sandy Lake RD3, died june 16, 1977, at Greenville Hospital where he had been a patient for four weeks. Born on Belfast Farm, Brothersvalley Twp., April 13, 1899, he was a son of the late Morgan and Emma (Stuck) Dickey. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: R. Earl, Mahlon, Mrs. Grace Haer, and Mrs. Laura Broeseker. He is survived by his wife, the former Vella Leech; three daughters: Mrs. Clifford (Betty) Anderson and Mrs. Eugene (Jo Ann) Carey, both of Sandy Lake and Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Reitz of Cochranton; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three sisters: Mrs. Ruth Broeseker, Miss Mary J. Dickey, and Mrs. Ada Duppstadt, all of Berlin RD3. Life-long farmer and resident of Sandy Lake Twp., Mercer County, since 1922, he served as a school director for many years and drove school bus for 28 years in the Sandy Lake area. He was a member of Lakeview United Methodist Church; one of charter members of Hillcrest Grange, Berlin, which was organized in 1916; and presentely(sic) a member of Sandy Lake Grange. Funeral services were held, June 20, at the Edward P. McMullen Funeral Home, Sandy Lake, with his minister, Rev. Harry Beveridge, officiating. Interment, Crestview Memorial Park, Grove City.
