Born Jan. 13, 1923, in Somerset, son of George Arthur and Rachel Estelle (Coleman) Dickey. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife of 53 years, the former Veronique Jeanne Pelletier; daughters: Mrs. John (Jaqueline) Dorsch of Amherst, Ohio; Mrs. Louis (Carol Ann) Schlotterer of Mount Clemens, Mich.; Mrs. George (Pamela) Gehrke of North Olmstead, Ohio; Mrs. Calvin (Michelle) Moy of Littleton, Colo.; Mrs. Mitchell (Linda) Riggs of New Hudson, Mich.; Mrs. John (Susan) Juriga of Middletown, Ohio; Mrs. Luke (Patricia) Stinnett of Loveland, Ohio; and Mrs.Lawrence (Laurie) Wright of Columbus Ohio; 13 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Brother of Mrs. David (Ruth Ann) Scheidt of Philadelphia. He was a 1941 graduate of Mercersburg Academy and a 1949 graduate of Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy Air Corps. He worked as a bond underwriter for State Auto Insurance Co., Columbus, Ohio, retiring in 1987. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, with the Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating.
