  MARY E. DICKEY
  
    Mary E. Dickey, 94, formerly of Southmont, died Jan. 26, 1981, at Masonic
  Homes, Elizabethtown.  
    Born Aug. 1, 1886, in Somerset County, she was a daughter of Aaron E. and
  Amanda (Gregg) Shaffer.
    She was preceded in death by husband, S.E. Dickey and is the last
  surviving member of family.
    She is survived by step-daughters, Ann, widow of Charles B. Shaner,
  Williamsburg, Va., and Helen, wife of A.M. Morris, Stone Harbor, N.J.; 
  also three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  She was a member of
  Franklin Street United Methodist Church, DAR and Presbyterian YWCA.  Former
  supervising principal of Southmont Schools.
    Friends were received at The Picking - Treece Bennett Mortuary, Inc., the
  Rev. John W. Stevenson, officiating.  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
