Boyd Dickey, 78, of Berlin RD 1, died Jan. 29, 1986 in Waynesboro Hospital, Waynesboro. Born March 18, 1907, in Meyersdale, son of Bruce and Emma (Boyd) Dickey. Preceded in death by parents and a sister, Glenda. Survived by wife, the former Francene Berg; three sons, Bruce B., Yakima, Wash.; David S., Greencastle; and the Rev. John B. Dickey, Enon Valley; also three grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. Was a graduate of Berlin High School, Juniata College and Bethany Biblical Seminary, Chicago. Served congregations in Midland, Mich,; Westmont and Colver in Cambria County; Erie; Delta, York County; Pittsburgh, and Greencastle for 13 years before retiring in 1972. Member of Redstone Presbytery, former Rotarian in Greencastle and presently member of Berlin Lions Club and vice moderator of the Donegal Presbytery. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday (today) at Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin. Graveside service 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Brotherton Pike Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Dr. Douglas Rehberg, the Rev. Dr. William Doncaster and the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating.
