  Daisy K. Diehl, 90, of Salisbury, died July 30, 1986, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 2, 1896, in Cornwall, England, daughter of
  the late George P. and Elizabeth (Prynn) James.  Preceded in death by her
  husband, William J. Diehl; a brother, Luke P. James; and two sisters,
  Myrtle Conner and Violet Jones.  Survived by a son, James R. of Salisbury;
  five grandchildren and one great-grandson.  Member of the Methodist Church
  of Salisbury.  She owned and operated Diehl's Variety Store in Salisbury
  for 37 years.  Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the
  Thomas Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Saturday 2 p.m.
  with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
