  Dorothy L. Diehl, 87, Meyersdale (Greenville Township), went to be with the
  Lord June 14, 2005, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born April 17, 1918
  in Allegany County, Md., a daughter of the late Anthony and Beulah (Funt) Witt.
  Also preceded in death by her first husband, George W. Porter in 1961; her
  second husband Irvin Diehl in 1985; sisters: Maybelle, Jennie and Rosie; and
  brothers: Andrew, Beaudrey, Guy and Clyde. A loving mother of Maxine Clarke,
  Waterford, Mich.; Patricia Murray, Meyersdale; Elwood Porter, Meyersdale; Wayne
  Porter, Mount Savage, Md.; and Richard Porter, Meyersdale. Also survived by a
  special niece, Delores Bishop; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 15
  great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a
  faithful member of St. John's United Methodist Church for 48 years, and she
  served as treasurer of St. John's Ladies Aid. Friends will be received 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. A funeral
  service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday at St. John's United Methodist Church
  Meyersdale. The Rev. Joseph Onder officiating. Interment St. John's (Temple)
  Cemetery. Arrangements by the William Rowe Price Funeral Home Inc., Meyersdale.

    Dorothy L. Diehl, 87, of Meyersdale (Greenville Twp.), went to be with the
  Lord, Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. 
    Born April 17, 1918, in Allegany Co., Md., she was a daughter of the late
  Anthony and Beulah (Funt) Witt. 
    Also preceded in death by her first husband, George W. Porter in 1961; her
  second husband, Irvin Diehl in 1985; sisters: Maybelle, Jennie, and Rosie; and
  brothers: Andrew, Beaudrey, Guy and Clyde. 
    She was a loving mother of: Maxine Clarke, Waterford, Mich.; Patricia Murray,
  Meyersdale; Elwood Porter, Meyersdale; Wayne Porter, Mt. Savage, Md.; and
