Diehl, 81, Salisbury, died Dec. 9, 1973, in Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville. She was born Oct. 18, 1892, in Salisbury, a daughter of the late William and Ida (Fogle) Cochrane. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Diehl. Surviving are these children: William Diehl, Kampsville, Ill.; Roy Diehl, Atlantic City, N.J.; George Diehl, El Paso, Texas; Miss Kathryn Diehl, Meyersdale; Mrs. Isabelle Rodamer and Mrs. Ethel Zabawa, both of Manville, N.J.; Mrs. Ruth Ansel, Cumberland, Md.; and Mrs. Jean Rembold of Springs; also 25 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Emma Younkin and Mrs. LaVerne Carter, both of Akron, Ohio; George Cochrane, Baden, Pa.; and Allen Cochrane, Fairmount City, Pa. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon in Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, with Rev. John H. Kraybill officiating.
