  Glenn E. Diehl. 75, Stoystown RD 1, died Aug. 2, 1989 at Memorial
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 6, 1913 in Bedford County, son of James and Elizabeth
  (Long) Diehl.  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Mary Shippey and Ida
  Hillegass; brothers Howard and Blaine.  Survived by wife, the former Betty
  J. Miller and these children:  Ronald, married to the former June (Adams)
  Albright, Boswell; and Sue Ann, wife of Gerald Griffith Jennerstown;
  grandchildren:  Stephen Diehl, married to the former Denise Rose; Kenneth
  and Mitchell Corey Diehl and Greg and Robert Griffith; step-grandchildren:
  Denise, married to Rob Jaeger; Merry and Cary, Jr., Wallace and Angel
  Albright.  Brother of Florence Snively, Zella Robb, and Lucinda Diehl, all
  of Shellsburg; Edna Speicher, Stoystown, RD 3; brother in law of Thelma
  Diehl, widow of Blaine, Stoystown, RD 3; also numerous nieces and
  nephews.  Member of Jennerstown United Methodist Church; Somerset I.O.O.F
  Lodge #438 and Somerset Grange.  Observed 47th wedding anniversary June 27,
  1989.  Retired in 1980 from Boswell Lumber Co. with over 33 years service. 
  Also employed by Diehl Construction for several years.  Friends received
  7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home,
  Main St. Boswell.  Viewing also from 9 a.m. to time of service at 10 a.m.
  Saturday, Jennerstown United Methodist Church, the Rev. Donald Krestar. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Memorials to Church Building
  Fund would be appreciated.
