  MRS. RALPH DIEHL
  
    Martha Mae Diehl, 64, Confluence RD, died July 9.  She was born May 3,
  1902, in Garrett County, a daughter of Joseph and Ellen (Bender) Ash.
    Surviving are her husband Ralph; and these children: Mrs. Clara Viola,
  Friendsville; Samuel Diehl, Mrs. Lucy Gatterman and Anna Nace, all of
  Confluence; Mary Warchal, Baltimore; Charles Diehl, Brownsville and Betty
  Williamson, Long Beach, Calif.
    Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Anna Ople, Accident, Md.;
  Homer Ash, Laurel, Md.; Charles Ash, Hancock, Md.; Lydia Sweitzer, Swanton,
  Md.; Minnie Hay, Berlin; Robert Ash, Oakland, Md,; and Hulda Ash, South
  Carolina.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald.
    Service was held July 13 at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, with
  Rev. Walter Otto officiating.  Interment was in St. Paul's Lutheran
  Cemetery.
