He was born April 14, 1911 at Addison, the son of the late Newton and Harriett Florence (Lohr) Diehl. He is survived by four brothers: Victor, of Addison; Lloyd, of Hyndman; Lawrence, of Westland, Mich.; and Newton, of Decver, Colorado; and two sisters: Lenora Nemo, of Addison; and Harriett Mooney, of Scherenville, Ind. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Bantam Auto Club. Friends were received at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville, W.Va., where services were conducted Friday, July 31 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Duane Johnson officiating. Interment in Addison Cemetery, Addison.
