  RALPH E. DIEST
  
    Ralph E. Diest, 56, of Greenbelt, Md., former of Berlin, died April 10 in
  Maryland.
    He was born Sept. 25, 1919, in Brothersvalley Township the son of the
  late Henry and Susan (Meyers) Diest.
    He was preceded in death by one son and three brothers.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Betty J. Tressler and these children:
  Mrs. Elmer (Bonnie) Beeman Jr. of Berlin; Ralph E. II and Mildred Clara,
  both at home.  He was a brother of Mrs. Clara Engleka, Mrs. Raymond
  (Nellie) Sarver, Mrs. Mildred Carver, and Mrs. Leon (Evelyn) McQuade, all
  of Berlin.
    Services were held April 14 at Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin, with
  the Rev. Charles W. Sigler officiating.  Interment was in Berlin IOOF
  Cemetery.
