  DIETZ
  
    Emily S. Dietz, 83, of Somerset died Nov. 4, 1989, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Oct. 20, 1906, in Jenner Township, the daughter of the late
  James A.G. and Anna (Barnett) Shaffer.  Survived by husband, James B., to
  whom she was married for 48 years; son, James William of Media, Pa.;
  sisters, Naomi G. Shaffer of Jennerstown and Anna S. Maurer of Indiana. 
  A member of Calvary United Methodist Curch [sic] and the Methodist Women. 
  Retired school teacher of 27 years in Acosta and Springs schools.  Member
  of Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees and the AARP.  Friends
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 top [sic] 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home.  Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary United
  Methodist Church, the Rev. Byron K. Myers officiating.  Interment, Husband
  Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church
  of Somerset.  The body will lie in state at the church from 12:30 p.m.
  until time of service.
