Born May 15, 1925 in Meyersdale, son of the late Dominic Anthony and Rose Theresa (Arnaudo) DiFebo. Also preceded by brother Wedo. Survived by wife, the former Arlene M. Nicholson and these children: Michael A. DiFebo, Bell Aire, Ohio; Mrs. Vicki L. Newberry, Meyersdale; Mrs. Robert (Joann) Shirley, Hobbs, N.M.; and Joseph J. DiFebo, Meyersdale; five grandchildren: Eric DeBerry, Anthony Newberry, Justin DiFebo, Holly DiFebo and John DiFebo. Brother of Mrs. Wilbur (Edith) McKenzie, Salisbury; Mrs. John (Madeline) Deal, Meyersdale RD 4; Victor DiFebo, Mrs. Willard C. (Marcella) Curtis, Mrs. Ramona Taylor, all of Meyersdale; and Mrs. James (Palma) Rice, Alexandria, Va. and Mrs. Mary Ferraro of Boynton. Retired bus driver for Meyersdale School district; veteran of the Korean War, where he served as a corporal with the U.S. Army 24th Infantry Division, 21st Regiment infantry intelligence reconnaissance. He was a guitarist and lead singer with the "Keystone Mavericks." Member of Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church and Meyersdale V.F.W. Post #3504. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where rosary will be recited 8 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian burial 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church, the Rev. Father James F. Bunn celebrant. Interment, Sts. Philip and James Catholic Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Somerset Chapter of the American Cancer Society, S. Lynn Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501 or to the Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church.
