DiFebo, 68, died March 4, 1984, in Long Island, New York, after a prolonged illness. He was born September 1, 1915, the son of the late Domenick and Rose DiFebo. He was the beloved husband of Mary Jane (Fry) DiFebo, the father of Margaret Folk, Carol Beck, Alfred DiFebo, Linda Napolitano, Andrew DiFebo, Jane Cowdrick, Ronald DiFebo, Debra Robeants and Denise Lanier, all of Long Island, New York. He was a brother of Edith McKenzie of Salisbury; Madeline Deal, Ramona Taylor, Anthony DiFebo, all of Meyersdale; Victor DiFebo, of Lutz, Florida; Marcella Curtis, of Clinton, Maryland; Palma Rice, of Alexandria, Virginia, and Mary Ferraro, of Boynton. Also surviving are five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II Eighth Infantry Division, 13th Regiment, cerving [sic] four years in combat infantry; received the Purple Heart, Silver Star and two President Unit Citations. He was retired from the Post Office in Deer Park, Long Island and also Republic Aircraft. Services were held Wednesday with the Rev. George Taylor officiating. Interment, National Cemetery.
