    Lena DiFrancesco, 85, of Hooversville, loving wife and mother, died Aug.
  1, 1999, at Good Samaritan Nursing Care Center, Johnstown.  Born Feb. 6,
  1914, in Italy, daughter of late Michael and Rose (Angelo) Ruis.  Survived
  by husband of 57 years, Ben, and these children: Janice, married to Curt
  Rhodes, Geneva, N.Y.; and Edwin, married to the former Suzanne Ash, of
  Boswell; grandchildren: Stefan and wife Chasity, Justin, Janine and Eric
  DiFrancesco, and Michael Friedline.  Great-grandchildren: Connie and
  Chloe.  Sister of Pat Ruis and Mary Ricchiuto, both of Johnstown, Helen
  Fratrich, Seward; James and Joseph Ruis and Anita Senuta, all of
  Davidsville.  Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville.  Family
  will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Hooversville, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 8 p.m. 
  Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Rev.
  Romulus Rosolowski, OFM. Conv.  Committal service at church cemetery. 
  Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association, 1011 Old
  Salem Road, Greensburg, Pa. 15601.
