    Thressa M. DiGiulio, 85, Windber, went to be with the Lord Aug. 7, 2006, at
  Regional Hospice at Windber. Born Nov.30, 1920, in Windber,
  daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Stevens) Verna. Also preceded in death by
  husband Nicholas in 1991, son Danny, sisters Ann Verna, and Jean Patton.
  Survived by son Larry, married to the former Andyette "Sis" Toki, Middletown,
  Md; and grandchildren, Michael, married to former Stephanie Gordon, New Market,
  Md; and Suzanne, wife of Ian Terry, Frederick, Md. Also survived by
  daughter-in-law Sandra (Draeger) DiGiulio, Windber. Sister of Anthony Verna,
  married to the former Verna Fetzko, Lanham, Md; and Gilda, wife of Andrew
  Kranyc, Windber. Also numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Thressa was a
  member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, where she served as a
  Eucharistic minister, sang in the funeral Mass choir, and was involved in many
  organizations. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua
  Catholic Church, Windber. The Rev. Andrew Kranyc, nephew of the deceased, and
  the Rev. Adrian Tirpak, TOR, celebrants. Committal church cemetery. The family
  will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Meek and Dalla
  Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held.
