  J. ALSTON DILLIE 
  
    J. Alston Dillie, 84, of Rockwood, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 1983, at
  Rochester, N.Y.
    He was born Sept. 7, 1899, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Orville G. and
  Mary Emma (Alston) Dillie.
    He was, preceded by his wife, Bertha Neuland.  He is survived by a
  daughter and son-in-law, Mary Alice and Edgar Feathers, Rochester; a son
  and daughter-in-law, Jack and Gloria Dillie, Levittown; seven
  grand-children; six great-grandchildren. Also a sister, Laura M. Dillie,
  Pittsburgh.
    A service in his memory was held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at Christ
  United Methodist Church, 621 Broadway, Rockwood.
