A native of Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Bisel. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, William T. Dillon, of Cumberland, Md.; a brother, George W. Bisel, Potomac Park, and four sisters, Mrs. Walter Slattery, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. W. Nelson Russler, Mrs. Ida Martin, both of Cumberland, Md., and Mrs. W. P. Lee, of LaVale, Md. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen No. 76, and of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Cumberland, Md. The older residents of Meyersdale will recall the Bisel family as having resided here for many years prior to removing to Cumberland, Md., more than a half-century ago. Mr. Bisel was engaged in the butcher business here, having erected and lived in the dwelling now owned and occupied by the Daberko family on Beachly Street, South Side, and conducting a meat market in a building adjoining. Later he operated a market on Center Street, at present occupied by the Arnone shoe repair shop. Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, at 9:00 a.m., in St. Mary's Catholic Church, with interment in SS. Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Cumberland, Md. Meyersdale Republican, February 12, 1942
