Born Jan. 14, 1894, in Fondi, Italy, a son of John and Jennie Dimanno. Preceded in death by one grandson, Rodney Phillips. Survived by his wife, Lena Baroni and these children: Richard, Pasadena, Calif.; Betty, Houston, Texas, Mary Louise, wife of Alfred Phillips, Jr., Stoystown RD 3; two grandchildren; and one brother, Laverio, residing in Italy. He was a retired B & O employee and a member of the International Brotherhood of Boiler Makers, veteran of World War I, and a member of VFW Post 554, Somerset. There will be no viewing and private services will be held Tuesday 1:30 p.m. at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard H. Shellenberger officiating.
