"Freddie" DiPasquale, 85 of Meyersdale, died July 31, 1998 in Meyersdale Manor. Born APril 8, 1913, in Shaw Mines, a son of the late Luigi and Antonia (DiCurzio) DiPasquale. Also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph N. DiPasquale; and three sisters: Rose Spazzaferro, Viola Tattarelli, and Ethel Navilisky. Survived by his wife, the former Roseline Latlip. He and his wife are the kind and loving parents of four children: Louis F. DiPasquale, and Diane M. DiPasquale, both of Meyersdale; Marion L. Shuttle, Rockwood; and Mary Ann Snyder, Somerset. A brother of Marcella Moore, Broomall, Pa. Also eight grandchildren: Fred, Steve, Nick, Tony, Michael and Brian DiPasquale; and Angela and Kristen Snyder. A veteran of the U.S. Army WWII. A well-known businessman, with his father and his brother Joseph. They owned and operated the DiPasquale Florist in Meyersdale for more than 50 years. DiPasquale Florist was a wholesale and retail business which served a 100-mile radius. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Myersdale. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11 a.m. at SS. Philip & James Catholic Church, Meyersdale, with Father Donald W. Dusza officiating. Interment in church cemetery.
