Roseline was the adored wife of the late Alfred "Freddie" DiPasquale, former owner of DiPasquale Bros. Flowers and partner in DiPasquale Garden Apartments of Meyersdale. Born June 19, 1921, in Charleston, W. Va., the twin daughter of David and Marion Latlip. Preceded in death by her twin sister, Madeline Bonario of Tampa, Fla., and sisters Virginia Picozzi, Ida May Dent and Rita Latlip, and her brother, David Latlip, all of Charleston. Roseline was the loving mother of four children: Louis Fred DiPasquale and Diane DiPasquale, both of Meyersdale, Mary D. Snyder of Somerset and Marion D. Shuttle of Rockwood. She was the doting and proud grandmother of eight grand-children: Freddie, Steven, Nick and Tony DiPasquale, Brian and Michael DiPasquale, all of Meyersdale and Angela and Kristen Snyder of Somerset. Prior to her marriage, Roseline enjoyed a thriving career in show business with her family in the entertainment industry. As a child, she performed a trapeze, acrobatic and high wire act on her father's 24 railroad car traveling show and circus. As an adult, she performed in a nightclub act with her two sisters, Madeline and Ginger, and played throughout the east coast in noted nightclubs such as the Stork Club in New York City and the Diamond Horseshoe in Miami. During WWII, Roseline and her sisters entertained the troops in USO shows throughout the United States and Canada. The successful singing act thrived until 1945 when Roseline married the love of her life, "Freddie" DiPasquale and moved to Meyersdale where they raised their family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (today) at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at SS. Philip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale with Father Donald W. Dusza celebrant. Committal service in SS Philip and James Cemetery, Meyersdale. Daily American, May 31, 2000 [D0664]
