Dipre, 82, Jerome Avenue, Jerome, died Oct. 25, 2003 at Patriot Manor, Somerset. Born June 30, 1921, in Stenico, Trento, Italy, son of Samuel and Pearl J. (Zuchelli) Dipre. Preceded in death by parents, infant twin brothers and brother, Raymond. Survived by wife of 32 years, the former Vera T. Flaim; daughter, Bonnie, married to Andrejs Jurjans, Arlington, Va.; twin daughters, Diana, married to Alex Plewniak, Bonita, Calif., and Dorie, married to Dave Kauffman, Westmont; and daughter, Sandy, married to Major General Francis Hamilton, Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Tracey Cummings, Mario and Vanessa Ghezzi, Jamie Ryan and Gina and David Sparks; godchild and niece Julie Flaim; sisters, Virginia, widow of John Ewanitako, Theresa married to Paul Morandi, and Sara, widow of Steve Pelesky, all of Somerset; sister-in-law, Margaret (Tulenko) Dipre, Willoughby, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. Army veteran of World War II. Member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Davidsville; Jerome Nest 556; Polish Falcons of America; Jerome Post 802, American Legion; Somerset Aerie 1801, FOE; UMWA; Pittsburgh Iron Workers Local 3; SIGNA, Cumberland, Md.; and St. Maximilian Kolbe Council 8979, K. of C.; also Fourth Degree Knight with the Father David Dodson Assembly No. 2201; K. of C. Had been a salesman at the former Terrace Chevrolet and a miner for the former Hillman Coal and Coke Co., both of Jerome. Retired construction worker for the UMWA. Former owner/operator of Gene's Bar, Jerome. Avid golfer at Oakbrook and other area courses. Also loved bocci, bowling and darts. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Route 403 and Church Road, Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held Monday afternoon and K. of C. will stand Honor Guard Monday evening. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anne's Church, the Rev. Father Michael Lewandowski, OFM, Conv., celebrant.
